I'm Katie, a Registered Dietitian and a Recovering "do It ALL'er"

Because YOU are WORTH IT.

I focus on you as a WHOLE person. As a holistic trauma-informed dietitian, my approach dives deep into the root causes of health issues. The women I work with, well, they're a special breed:

They're the Type A, do-it-all-until-you-drop kind, the overachievers who could probably run a small country, the selfless caregivers who would put their own oxygen masks on last, and the ones with hearts so big, they could probably sense someone's energy change from a mile away. My mission is to help women rebalance, not just their hormones, but their entire lives, empowering them to prioritize their well-being as much as they do for others

Confession time

Years ago, I hit what felt like rock bottom. To anyone looking in, my life seemed picture perfect - I was excelling in school, waking up at 5:00 am for workouts, and was the go to "therapist friend." But on the inside? I was crumbling: battling anxiety, weighed down by depression, and struggling with a myriad of unexplained symptoms. I was living, yet not feeling, caught in a shell of disconnection, pretending to be okay while internally screaming for help.

How Exactly Did I Get Here?

You might want to grab a snack (or two)...

It was during this time of introspection and searching for answers that I stumbled upon the concepts of somatic healing, feminine embodiment, and the transformative power of a root cause approach to health. Despite my extensive background in nutrition and wellness, I realized that there was a missing piece – a deep, personal connection to my own body. I had the knowledge but lacked the embodiment of that wisdom.

Everything began to change the moment I started therapy. My therapist was a guiding light, helping me to understand and embrace my sensitivity as a strength, not a weakness. This was the crucial turning point in my journey of reconnecting my mind and body. Through somatic healing, I learned about the deep interconnection between my emotional experiences and their physical manifestations. Alongside this, feminine embodiment practices opened a new world for me. They allowed me to rekindle a relationship with my body, to embrace its inherent wisdom and rhythms that I had long ignored.  I began to see my body not as an adversary but as an ally, a source of insight and strength.

Most importantly, this journey led me to a powerful realization: I was never broken. The struggles and symptoms I faced were not signs of flaws or failures but signals from my body, asking to be heard and understood. They were part of a deeper narrative that needed attention and care.

This path of healing and self-discovery wasn't just about fixing what felt wrong; it was about uncovering and nurturing what was always right within me. It became a journey of not just healing but of coming home to myself.

When everything changed.

This journey of self-discovery and healing transformed not just my personal life but also my professional path. It inspired me to establish a practice dedicated to guiding others through their unique paths to holistic health. My mission is to guide others to not only better health but also to a place of self-love and understanding, drawing from the profound insights that changed my own life.
